Sally looks so threatening here. She is starting to show her age....or Ethan has just totally stressed her out the past year!! She is almost 10 years old now!

"O Christmas Tree"

We put our Christmas tree up this weekend! Ethan was so excited, he could hardly contain himself! We bought a new tree this year. It seems so big compared to the little tree we have been using! (note to parents: if you have lil kids, buy them a little tree with their own little ornaments! Helps stay out of the nice tree!) I bought Ethan a little 79 cent tree, and he loves it!

I tried to get Ethan to stand in front of the tree and take a good picture, but he was too busy! He was even too busy to take the time to put on his pajamas! (He will be sorry for this one day!! hehe!)

(I know, the tree needs a bigger skirt, but Ethan was not being the greatest child at the store, so we had to get out!!)

Our New Toy

Clint and I bought an early christmas present. We got a new digital camera, that will also record video with sound! I love it! Here are couple shots that I took playing around with it today! Ethan didn't really want to get his picture taken, but a little coaxing, and I got a couple faces! HAHA!!!

Ok...I swear I was not drinking when I thought this up. This is total boredom setting in for the winter! I am already tired of no green trees, no green grass, no flowers! And I am soo ready to cook out, drink margaritas, and be MERRY!

Boy Milestone #1

I am not sure if this would be considered a "milestone" or not, but seems every little boy says it at some moment in their childhood. Ethan said this evening that he wants to be a fireman when he grows up. He said he wants to be the fire chief and drive the truck to come and rescue people! And he also said I could come too! He really has a "thing" with rescuing people, maybe this is a sign of something in his future?!

There's no fun like SNOW fun

First, you start with layers of clothing, all for about 25-30 minutes of cold snowy fun! Is it worth it? You decide by the looks of this busy 3 year old!

And as you can see, it was worth it! Just like the leaves in the fall, too bad we can't bring in a whole bunch of snow for some peace and quiet! Hopefully soon we will have enough to make a snowman!.....maybe even a snow family!
